This entails providing comprehensive services to new arrivals and those in need, as a one-stop independent resource center. Selfreliance Association continues to develop access to necessary services to help individuals achieve stability and self-sufficiency. We offer assistance with filling out documents, particularly with resources for insurance and health care, getting work permits, getting social security, and more. Additional services provided are consultations with an immigration attorney and nutrition classes.
In addition to this, we have partnered with Welcome U.S. This is an organization that provides aid to those seeking asylum. It helps Ukrainian refuge seekers get connected with sponsors. More Ukrainians are being displaced every day, causing a higher need for sponsors.
